Buninyong Dominates 2026 Women’s Midweek Pennant Finals

The 2026 Women’s Midweek Pennant Finals were held on Monday 18^th May at Buninyong Golf Club, with teams from across the region coming together to celebrate another successful season of competition and camaraderie.

In a fitting achievement during the club’s centenary year, Buninyong made full use of home course advantage, completing a clean sweep across all three divisions in a memorable day for the host club.

Results

• Division 1: Buninyong 3 defeated Ballarat 2
• Division 2: Buninyong 4 defeated Midlands Blue 1
• Division 3: Buninyong Red 4 defeated Ballarat 1

While the finals delivered impressive performances on the course, the Women’s Midweek Pennant competition continues to showcase the passion and dedication that makes our golf community so strong.

A special thank you goes to all team managers for their organisation and commitment throughout the season, along with Helen Pascoe for her outstanding coordination of the competition.
